Canada Green Building Council

The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is a not-for-profit national organization that works to advance green building and sustainable community development practices in Canada. The CaGBC is focused on leading and accelerating the transformation to healthy green building in homes and communities.

The council works to change industry standards, develop best design practices and guidelines, advocate for green buildings and develop education tools to support members in implementing sustainable design and construction practices.

Canadian Home Builders’ Association

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) promotes affordability and choice in Canada’s residential construction industry. Established in 1943, the CHBA represents more than 8,000 member firms across Canada, including new home builders, renovators, land developers, trade contractors, product and material manufacturers, building product suppliers, lending institutions, insurance providers, service professionals and more.

Termed “the voice of Canada’s residential construction industry,” the CHBA works to achieve a stable business environment for its members, promote the interests of consumers and support the professionalism of Canadian home builders.
