Sidelites not only enhance the look and size of your door, but they can also add additional benefits such as using full glass sidelites to increase the amount of sunlight that enters into your home while maximizing the overall width of your door. Transoms can be added above your door as well to allow increased sunlight into your home while increasing beauty and elegance. Double doors can impress while allowing the ability to be fully opened to create a single large opening since the centre post, known as an astragal, is attached to one of the two doors.
